Janice Turner or better known as counselor Jaye is the founder and licensed mental health counselor of Effect Behavioral Health Solutions LLC. She is a Liberty University graduate and possesses a Masters in Professional counseling and is a certified adoption counselor. Janice is a Tampa Florida native and is from a family of 12 siblings. Janice has been working one on one with people who feel that they are at a crossroads in their relationships and life. She specializes in supporting individuals and families who feel unfulfilled and want to find a way to rebuild their relationships. Her main philosophy with working with clients is that in life we all have some of the questions to our own challenges and often need some guidance as to why we are who we are. Often when people are trying to make changes or rebuild relationships fear and mistrust can often block that inner wisdom to take on the challenge.

Our expertise is in relationship and family care; we believed that along with implementing change in irrational beliefs system and thoughts patterns, positive behavioral change is the key to effective positive growth. Counselor Jaye is an eclectic therapist; this means that she will utilize a variety of interventions to assist clients with dealing with their challenges. In assisting children with challenges as well as building rapport, Counselor Jaye likes also likes to use a variety of tools. Play therapy is one the interventions used by counselor Jaye because Play therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses play to communicate with and help people, especially children, to prevent or resolve psychosocial challenges. This is thought to help them towards better social integration, growth and development, emotional modulation, and trauma resolution. The counselor has also used play therapy such as art and music therapy to assist clients with medication and working out marriage conflicts.
